  1. Thank you. Being an expat in Australia and starting to look at my old UK personal pensions this looked just plausible. It is great to get this confirmation of my suspicions. The advice “never open an attachment unless expected” is excellent advice. In accounts I have seen emails with a button to press to “view your invoice”. I will not touch that button with a 10ft pole and strongly urge everybody else to do likewise. You never know what you will be unleashing. If it might be legit, contact the supplier and ask for the invoice to be sent in a more direct way. If their software really is doing this they’ll soon figure out that it is not an effective way of doing business.
