Now I cannot call this an out and out scam. What I will say is read the small print very carefully and be aware that you are signing up for a competition with ONE chance to win a Tesco Gift card. This will cost you £4.50 each WEEK on your mobile phone bill. It isn’t free to enter and I am reliably informed by others who signed up for similar competitions in the past, that to cancel is extremely difficult and you will be bombarded with other spam, both by SMS on the phone and via email.
It is your choice, but my advice is don’t fall for these dubious scam emails that pretend that you have already won a prize or have been specially selected and have a great chance.
