The latest Apple/ITunes phish pretends to be confirmation of an ITunes order for Netflix.   The email looks like : From: Apple <Apple@e.Apple.co.uk> Date: Fri 12/08/2016 15:37 Subject: Order Receipt NetFlix #06285490 Body content: Dear customer, This email confirms your purchase of the following subscription:                  Name of Subscription:   Netflix 1S Plan                   Name of Application:   Netflix                          Content Provider:   Netflix, Inc.                           Date of purchase:   08 August 2016.                      Subscription Period:   1 month                                                Price:    £35.99                          Payment Method:    iTunes account The subscription period will automatically renew unless you turn it off … Continue reading →

An email received with the subject of  Order id189792075 ( random numbers) that makes you think it is an Apple / ITunes notification pretending to come from random email addresses  is one of the latest phish attempts to steal your Apple Account and your Bank, credit card and personal details. This one unusually, doesn’t actually want your Apple  log in details and only wants your credit card and bank details along with some personal identification.
